Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a traditional hands on Japanese, clothed
healing therapy.
The
therapy can be used for general poor health, relaxation
or more specific ailments, including headaches, stiff
necks, joint pain, backache,and sports injuries. As
well as digestive, circulatory, respiratory and menstrual
problems.
Shiatsu is deeply relaxing and if received regularly
will help reduce the stresses and strains of modern
life.
A Shiatsu treatment takes place on the floor on a padded
mat or futon and a will take approximately one hour
during which you will be asked about your health to
enable or practitioner to build up a case history. Treatments
can be given seated if preferred.
Shiatsu relaxes the mind, restores and balances energy.
It can ease tension and stiffness whilst improving breathing,
posture, circulation and well-being.
Alison Grove studied Shiatsu in Bristol, is a practitioner
member of the Shiatsu society and is pleased to offer
treatments on a Wednesday evening in our Clinic.
