What the Price Includes:

Conference Attendance: this is paid for on a 24-hour basis running from 2.00pm on the 1st day until 2.00pm the following day. Don’t ask me why. All I’m told is that ‘It’s the industry standard’ – as if catering were an industry. Refreshments (tea/coffee/mineral water/fruit juice and biscuits) will be available at specified times morning and afternoon. The lunch is a Hot & Cold Buffet.

Evening meal: this is an informal conference dinner suitable for those who chose not to eat out. Swansea and the Mumbles have a wide range of restaurants and you may prefer to eat at these instead. Swansea is 1.5 miles away and the Mumbles 3 miles. Buses and taxis are readily available. Go on, be adventurous and.see what life outside the campus offers (recommended).

Conference Dinner (including Twmpath - A Welsh Ceilidh, oh yes, there is such a thing. If you don’t believe me, Google it.): A short trip to the Gower Peninsula to eat at The King Arthur Hotel, Reynoldston to have a dinner with a ‘Welsh Flavour’

FAQ:

Q. Why are the prices cheaper on the third and fourth days?

A. WICN has kindly agreed to subsidize BACN members who choose to stay on for the WICN Conference. WICN is made up of the three leading Universities in Wales and which boast between them world-class imaging facilities and many big, international academic names. The WICN conference is the annual meeting of this august gathering and is well worth staying on for. Details of the WICN conference will be out soon.
